Our gifted Tabitha Artisan women hand dye Ugandan grasses, and weave them into beautiful patterns made from grass varietals such as millet, sisal, and raffia. Each basket's pattern is uniquely created according to the artist's vision, and takes about a week for our women to complete one. The weave is tight; a very high quality and sturdy basket which can be a beautiful display in your home, or use in your kitchen.
"Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children." Matthew 15:36-38
